My name is Ellie, I am 17 and I am from the Lake District in England.
During this experience I have learnt lots about Swedish culture including the sports, such as ice hockey, the foods like meatballs and reindeer and the traditions like the Sami people and the Midsummer celebration.
In our free time we did lots of fun and exiting activities such as skiing, husky sledding and snowmobiling. We also had big snowball fights with the local children which as a lot of fun.
Thanks to Erasmus+, professionally I have learnt a lot about communication with others, even despite language barriers. I also learnt about working with children and how to teach them new skills.  Personally the biggest thing I enjoyed was learning a new language which I intend to continue learning after I return home.
