My name is Zak Mullier I am 17, and I am studying SPORT and Coaching at Askham Bryan College.
When coaching I did football, gymnastics, basketball and athletics. The hardest part of the coaching was the language barrier as they didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak French. To get past this we did hand signals and lots of demonstrations and
In the free time we went to beach a few times, we also did a few cultural visits like the slave museum, chocolate factory and rum distillery.
Thanks to Erasmus+, professionally I have learnt how to communicate and teach other people sports that don’t speak the same language through actions and demonstrations. Personally, I would like to thank Erasmus+ for the amazing opportunity and for potentially making me more employable.
