My name is Mitchell Parker, 17 from York. I went on a project in Valencia.
Over the two-week project we took part in football sessions designed to help us understand the Spanish way of playing from SPF staff. We also visited a local club to help coach their players and learn from their coaches.
During my spare time we cooked paella went to watch Valencia men and women play vs Bilbao as well as explore the city.
I learn new skills mainly around communication and how to adapt mine to suit the audience I was working with.
I surprised myself with how sociable I was, I didn’t know everyone before we went on our project, but by the end of it I had a new group of friends.
